Crock Pot Tips

Back when I was commuting to the city every day, I purchased a crock pot. The idea of having a meal ready to eat when I got home from work was very appealing. Ironically, it wasn’t until I became unemployed that I was able to really start taking full advantage of the pot as a cooking tool. Let me tell you, crock pot and slow cooker recipes seem deceptively simple, but there are actually a lot of things you should know before trying to cook with the pot. Continue reading

Used Books on Amazon for $0.01

People like to have things. Think about all the things you own. Go look through your closets and in your drawers. How many things in there will you honestly never use again? If you’ve got a lot of free space, there’s no reason to get rid of them, but if you’re like me, the objects are worth less than the space they take up. I’m mostly going to be discussing this from a US perspective, because that’s what I know.

This means that every iPhone application has to be developed by a company, or individual. You can’t have a team of people around the world collaborate openly to make an amazing iPhone application.

iPhone 3g Google Calendar Sync Failure

As I said in my previous post, I am very pleased with my iPhone 3g purchase. It’s not perfect, but I knew the pros and cons going in. Overall the experience is what I expected it to be. However, there is one major flaw in the phone that I did not anticipate. The native calendar application is completely incapable of synchronizing with Google Calendar.
