Do you use Gnome? Do you use Gmail for domains? Do you want to use your Gmail for domains account as the default e-mail application in Gnome? Today is your lucky day! I took the script from this website, and modified them very slightly into this script. Modify the script for your particular domain and follow the original instructions. Works like a charm.

Phone Trouble

Usually we can complain about a particular product sucking or a company sucking, but this is a case of industry-wide suckitude. Backlash Against Negativity

The Intarwebs as we know them have become somewhat infamous as a home for nonsensical flame wars, illogical arguments and unmitigated insults. Every forum or comment board either seems to fit the stereotype or fight against it. However, there is a trend I have noticed among those who want the Internet to be a nicer place to fight fire with fire. There’s a reason it’s called beta

The IceWeasel Debate

I am against IceWeasel. Debian and related distributions are going to setback Linux on the desktop in the name of ideology. The few people who are actually pro-IceWeasel will stick around, and the normal users will either find greener pastures or replace IceWeasel with the real Firefox. Personally, I’m uninstalling the Firefox on my Ubuntu and installing the real Mozilla version.

Most People Suck at Reading Aloud

I often think back to the days of elementary school. In the early years I recall that the class was split up into separate reading groups. I would always end up reading a real paperback book while other kids read Spot, Clifford or the Berenstain Bears. In 4th grade they gave the entire class the same book. I was able to read it out aloud with no challenge whatsoever. Most other kids would stumble over every third word. It was very irritating to say the least. Recently, due to the advent of podcasting, this irritation has made a triumphant return.
